Diesel Repair
Auto Repair in Maurice & Lafayette, LA
General repair, brakes and general service, and performance work, handled by technicians who work on everything from commuters to diesel trucks.
South-End Automotive and Diesel handles full-service auto repair at our Maurice location. That means the everyday work, brakes, batteries, belts, scheduled maintenance alongside the harder diagnostic jobs other shops would rather not chase down.
Because we are a diesel shop as much as an automotive one, we have the equipment and the experience to work on more than a standard corner shop can. Whether you drive a compact car, a family SUV or a three-quarter-ton truck, you get the same thing: a straight explanation of what is wrong, an honest estimate, and a repair that holds up.
General Repair
Diagnostics & General Auto Repair
A check-engine light, a noise that only happens on turns, a truck that will not start on a cold morning, we find the actual cause instead of replacing parts until the symptom goes away. Our scan tools cover most domestic and import makes, and we test before we quote.
- Check-engine light diagnostics
- Engine & drivability repair
- Cooling system & overheating
- Starting, charging & electrical
- Transmission service
- Air conditioning repair
Brakes & General Service
Brakes, Oil Changes & Routine Maintenance
This is the work that keeps a vehicle safe and predictable, and we treat it that way, not as a loss leader to get you in the door.
Brake pads, rotors, calipers, lines and fluid. Oil and filter service on the schedule your manufacturer actually calls for. Tires, batteries, wipers, belts, hoses and fluid flushes. If we inspect something and it does not need replacing yet, we will tell you that too, and roughly how long you have.
- Brake pads & rotors
- Brake fluid & lines
- Oil & filter changes
- Tire service & rotation
- Batteries, belts & hoses
- Scheduled maintenance
Performance
Performance & Upgrades
If you want more out of the vehicle you already own, we can help you spend that money well. Intake and exhaust work, tuning, suspension and brake upgrades, and bolt-on parts installed and set up properly, on gas and diesel alike.
Tell us how the vehicle gets used and what you want out of it. We will give you an honest read on what is worth doing and what is not.
